INRS students with a student visa have the following advantages of staying in Canada:
As a foreign student staying temporarily in Quebec, you may be authorized to drive a vehicle using your foreign driver’s licence or an international driver’s licence. After starting your studies at INRS, you will be able to apply for permanent residence (as a permanent skilled worker) of Canada if you satisfy both of the following conditions:
Having finished all courses of your program.
Having completed the first year of your studies at INRS.
Applying for Canadian citizenship:
