Bio

Sajjad Rostami received BSc degree in Information Technology Engineering in 2013. During his undergraduate studies, he worked on optimizing the decision making process in Nao robots by means of reinforcement learning. He also recieved MSc degree in Information Technology Engineering and Computer Networks in 2018. He worked as researcher in the Mechatronics Research Laboratory (MRL) with a focus on rescue simulation systems. The MRL team was ranked first at the last two World RoboCup competitions in Japan (2017) and Germany (2016). Sajjad started his PhD in Telecommunications under the supervision of Prof. Martin Maier at INRS starting in January 2019.

Research Interests

Disaster management systems, Multi-agent systems, Robotics, Intelligent systems/agents, and software engineering.

Bio

Nika Hosseini received her bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2019. She worked on optimizing the pattern of horn antennas in front of soil during her undergraduate studies. She will receive her master's degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications from the K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2022. During her graduate studies she worked on optimizing the energy efficiency of Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces using reinforcement learning.

Bio

Minoo Soltanshahi received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Technology Engineering in 2010 where she focused on networks. She went on to receive a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering in 2016. During her master's studies, she worked on algorithms, cloud computing and networks. She also ranked second in her master’s program. She worked as lecturer in the Payam-Noor University, Bahmanyar Private Institute of Higher Education and the Alzahra University of Iran from 2016 to 2022. She teaches most of the computer courses offered such as: Programming and Data Structures, Software Engineering, and Database. She has also been the technical manager of the Hezareh-Sevom company for three years.
